About Us

Barakat have visited several European and Arab countries and participated in exhibitions and
arts activities which enhanced his talent and vision to the issues of interest and the possibility
of its formulation in the vision of his artistic work
.He is one of the contemporary artists who
transitioned from the frame of the painting with four sides to the art of composite works and
installation work
.
The artist participated in more than thirty art exhibitions both individual and collective and
international. He showcased different techniques of drawing, sculpture, and painting with light,
photography and installation art.
His membership affiliation also includes the Saudi World of Photography Group “WPG” and the
Afro-Asian Union for International Law and Dispute Settlement (Member No. 221

He studied Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Zamalek, and Cairo, Egypt. He specializes in interior
design and photography in the field of advertising in Cairo
.
His talent for drawing began at a young age with the encouragement of his parents and art
teachers in various educational stages. The artist was born in Kuwait in the early 1980s and
lived in a society that comprised different cultures which prompted him to be open to other
cultures and contributed to his vision to the world around him, which is characterized by being
mature and different.
He began to develop artistic talent when his interest for art rose during the school days in the
preparatory and secondary stages. He first started using pencils and then water colors and
some handicrafts such as tapping on copper, drawing on glass and others. Then he pursued his
academic study of art in the historically renowned Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo and this was
followed by a master’s degree in the field of interior design and decoration
.

Egyptian Ambassador to Italy Launches Egyptian Dialogue Exhibition
In a lavish event, Egyptian ambassador
to Italy Hisham Badr has recently inaugurated the anticipated ‘Hewar Masr’
(Egyptian Dialogue) exhibition at Art
Gap Gallery in the historic Trastevere
district of Rome. The exhibition included
30 art works of photography as well as
sculpture by seventeen Egyptian artists
from diverse generations and art schools.
In the event, the ambassador reiterated the importance of the role of art
and culture in bringing people together,
and continued to praise the outstanding level of the masterpieces on display,
all of which was appreciated by the
Italian public in an event that familiarised attendees with some of the best
Egyptian works of art.
Badr stressed that the recent and
distinguished participation of Egyptian
women in the country’s artistic production sends a strong message about the
role of women in our society in various
fields, namely art and culture. role of

Among the best artists in the exhibition was the talented artisan with an
eccentric artistic eye, Ahmed Barakat,
whose recognition in the event did
not go unnoticed. The exhibition was
attended by Consul Sharif El Gamal, Mrs.
Sahar El Beheiry, wife of the Egyptian
Consul General in Milan; and Dr. Hagar
Seif El Din, along with many Italian
cultural figures, among whom was the
writer Luciana Borsatti, publisher Fabrizio
Bedetti, Italian director of Egyptian origin
Mohamed Kenawi and Italian designer
Enzo Russo. The exhibition presented
works by Mohammed Al Tarawi, Dr.
Nasser Al Jilani, Nathan Dos, Hisham
Abdullah, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, Amani Mousa,
